Pastor Kelvin Thomas is a native of East Texas. After serving as an Elder for 11 years, Pastor Thomas   began pastoring in 2006. He is the founder and senior pastor of Fresh Start Ministry in Longview Texas. He continues to travel, however, sharing his testimony with others of how the Lord delivered and set him free from a life of poverty, drug abuse, etc.

Much of his extraordinary testimony is revealed when he is ministering the Word. Pastor Thomas believes his ministry will help men and women to gain the courage to face their past hurts, wounds and failures. Pastor Thomas being told as a young man that he would never amount to anything eventually found himself incarcerated. Despite these many trials and challenges, however, he who was the one less likely to succeed-maintained a supernatural tenacity and will to survive. Where others may have lost their mind committed suicide, or even been killed, the Lord graciously held tragedy back and Pastor Thomas has now turned those negative experiences into a positive and remarkable outcome.

He gives God the glory because during his span of lawlessness, the angels of the Lord were protecting him because the call of God was upon his life.
